What You'll Do
As a Personal Care Assistant at Helen's Home, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
- Helping with mobility and ensuring a safe environment, including lifting up to 50lbs when necessary.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate team members.
- Supporting residents with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other daily activities.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a caring and dependable individual who meets the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as part of daily tasks.
- Must pass a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
- A strong sense of empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
