While this posting does not relate to a specific job opening with Food Policy Pathways, it opens the door to your future, where you can leverage your subject matter expertise in lifestyle medicine to advance better food policy in the U.S.

As a candidate, you will receive free individualized career coaching, access to a robust resource library, monthly resource emails, invitations to webinars from experts in the field, mentorship, access to our LinkedIn and WhatsApp communities, and more. Your goal as you leverage our resources will be to land an internship, fellowship, or full time role in local, state, or federal government, either in an agency or the office of an elected official. Even if 5% of your portfolio to start is related to food policy, we view that as carrying enormous potential for policy impact, as you will learn the systems and processes required to advance more plant-forward policy and work your way up in public service. Engagement with our program can happen from anywhere as long as you are authorized to work in the U.S. Government jobs, however, will likely be fully in-person.

About Food Policy Pathways (FPP): FPP is a national nonprofit committed to equipping emerging food policy leaders with the skills and networks needed to drive change for a healthier, more resilient and more humane food system. We provide access to public service career development resources and mentorship opportunities with experienced professionals to encourage high-impact careers in government. Composed of former city/state government staff members, FPP recognizes the invaluable contributions of competent, knowledgeable and mission-aligned individuals working at all levels of government to move the food policy needle.
