Local, Reliable, Accessible Medicare Advantage Plan
HealthTeam Advantage (HTA) made a big impact when we began offering plans in the Greensboro Medicare Advantage market beginning January 2016. Medicare Advantage plans (Part C) offer all the benefits of Original Medicare plus extra benefits like annual physicals, dental, vision, hearing, fitness, and wellness programs, plus optional dental coverage. Our plans also include Medicare Part D prescription coverage. HealthTeam Advantage plans are offered in Alamance, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, and Rockingham counties.
Our members have a Personal Healthcare Concierge to call for answers about coverage. Every Concierge is an expert who knows our members, the plans, and providers.
In 2019, our chief medical director recognized there was an underserved patient population and led the plan to create the HTA Diabetes & Heart Care HMO Chronic Special Needs Plan (CSNP) for residents of Guilford county. In 2022 we’re expanding this footprint to Alamance, Randolph and Rockingham counties.
