We are launching a Lifestyle Medicine Bootcamp™ to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to integrate lifestyle medicine into clinical practice, supported by cutting-edge technology and resources.
Position Summary:
The Lead Clinician will be instrumental in the success of the Lifestyle Medicine Bootcamp™ serving as the primary educator for clinicians. This role involves delivering instruction aligned with the comprehensive American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) curriculum, overseeing participant onboarding to the Rally Point by FHO™ App, and contributing to the advancement of lifestyle medicine through research and article publication. The lead Clinician will serve as an advisor to FHO’ senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
- Serve as the lead educator for the Lifestyle Medicine Bootcamp, providing engaging, evidence-based instruction aligned with the ACLM curriculum.
- Facilitate interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities to enhance participant understanding and application of lifestyle medicine practices.
- Provide clear learning objectives, assess participant comprehension, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to meet learning goals.
Program Development and Coordination:
· Collaborate with FHO leadership, including military leadership experts and program coordinators, to ensure alignment with program objectives and participant needs.
- Contribute to the refinement of course materials, ensuring consistency with ACLM standards and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, answering participant questions and providing mentorship during and after the program.
Technology Integration and Onboarding:
- Lead onboarding sessions for participants to effectively use the Rally Point by FHO App, introducing its features for wellness resources, lifestyle medicine tools, and mentorship support.
- Offer feedback to FHO’s development team to enhance the app’s usability and effectiveness.
Research and Advocacy:
- Promote the advancement of lifestyle medicine by conducting or supporting research initiatives aligned with FHO’s mission.
- Write and publish articles, white papers, or blog posts to highlight the benefits of Lifestyle Medicine integration.
- Collaborate with FHO and external stakeholders to disseminate findings and best practices through presentations, webinars, and other forums.
Evaluation and Feedback:
- Collect and analyze participant feedback to refine and improve the boot camp experience.
- Work with program coordinators to prepare post-program reports on outcomes and lessons learned.
- Evaluate participant performance and provide individual feedback to support their professional growth.
· Participate in quarterly board meetings with FHO senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Registered Nurse (ACLM Board Certification)
- Certification or strong familiarity with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) curriculum (ACLM Board Certification preferred).
- Experience in academic writing, research, or publishing is strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional teaching and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences of healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of lifestyle medicine principles, evidence-based guidelines, and clinical applications.
- Experience integrating technology into education or practice, including mobile apps or learning platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage curriculum delivery, app onboarding, and participant engagement.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills for creating compelling and impactful content.
- A passion for mentoring and empowering clinicians to adopt and advocate for lifestyle medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching or leading training programs for clinicians.
- Familiarity with case-based learning and interactive educational methods.
- Proven track record of publishing articles or research in healthcare-related fields.
- Strong understanding of clinician wellness and the challenges of adopting lifestyle medicine in practice.
Work Environment and Requirements:
- Ability to deliver instruction in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format as required.
- Availability for program planning sessions, bootcamp delivery, and post-program evaluation.
- Occasional travel may be required for in-person training events.
