Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Unique Primary Care

Flora Medical Clinic is a primary care Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine practice for adults 18 years and older. We are seeking a skillful and passionate Nurse Practitioner with an interest in a Lifestyle Medicine approach.

We provide an innovative model of care that includes both traditional Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Lifestyle medicine is an evidence-based approach to preventing, treating, and even reversing chronic diseases by replacing unhealthy behaviors with positive ones. This includes eating a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet, being physically active, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and having a strong support system.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday

Job Duties

• Provide patient services
• Obtain medical and personal histories
• Perform physical exams
• Educate patients
• Prioritize and assess patients
• Provide primary care through wellness visits and assessment
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses for a variety of patients
• Administer and prescribe medications and complete treatments according to practice policies
• Maintain and complete all necessary patient record documentation

Our Ideal Candidate has:

• Nurse Practitioner License
• Knowledge or experience in Lifestyle Medicine practices, or an eagerness to learn.
